Pune-based EV-maker Tork Motors has announced a new discounted price for its electric motorcycle, the Kratos R. The bike now costs Rs. 1,49,999 (ex-showroom, pan India) which makes it about Rs. 37,000 more affordable than the previous asking price of Rs. 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
The new asking price for the Tork Kratos R is only valid till 31 March 2024. That said, no changes have been made to the bike and it continues to retain the design, hardware, features, battery and motor.
Tork has equipped the Kratos R with a 4kWh battery that is linked to a 9kW (peak power) motor. The setup claims to offer the Kratos R a maximum range of 180km and a top speed of 105kmph. There are three ride modes – Eco, City, and Sport. Apart from that, the Kratos R gets various features like a digital instrument cluster, regenerative braking, reverse mode, mobile connectivity, USB charging, anti-theft, front storage box, OTA updates, geofencing, find my vehicle, motor walk assist, crash alert, track mode, and smart charge analysis.
It rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock while the brakes include a front and rear disc with ABS. These are mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 90/80 front and 120/80 rear tyres. Tork offers the Kratos R in five paint schemes – Jet Black, Innocent White, Streaky Red, Midnight Black, and Oceanic Blue.
