Tata Punch EV Gets Discounts Up to Rs 50,000 – Details

It’s been just a few months since the Tata Punch EV arrived in the market. Currently, the electric micro SUV is available in five trims and eight variants, priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh. Exciting news for buyers comes in the form of fresh discounts and benefits, particularly on the top-end Punch EV Empowered +S LR (Long Range) AC fast charger variant. This specific variant is reportedly offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000, including cash discounts of Rs 20,000, as well as additional insurance and dealer benefits. It’s important to note that these discounts may vary depending on the city and dealership.

The reason behind this specific discount is the stocked-up inventory of the top-end variant. According to reports, each Tata dealer has approximately 5 to 10 units of the Empowered +S LR AC fast charger variant. After applying the discounts mentioned above, the Tata Punch EV top variant will be priced at Rs 15 lakh, instead of Rs 15.49 lakh.

The Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC fast charger variant is equipped with a 35kWh battery paired with a 112bhp electric motor. It promises a range of 421km on a single charge. The Long Range variant, featuring the FWD system, delivers a maximum torque of 190Nm and can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in under 9.5 seconds. The electric micro SUV is also available with a 25kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 315km.

Tata provides two charging options for the Punch EV: a 3.3kW wall box charger and a 7.2kW fast charger. Additionally, the Punch EV supports DC 50kW fast charging, capable of charging its battery from 10 to 80 percent in 56 minutes. The model boasts a ground clearance of 190mm and a water wading capacity of 350mm.

The Punch EV Empowered+ trim comes with exclusive features, including a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, leatherette seats, blind spot monitor, wireless smartphone charger, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and Arcade.ev app suite.
