Toyota Kirloskar Motor has expanded the Innova Hycross MPV model lineup with a new GX (O) variant, positioned above the GX trim. The new GX (O) variant is available in both 7 and 8-seater configurations, priced at Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 21.13 lakh, respectively, with deliveries starting today. Compared to the GX petrol variant, the new Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O) variant is nearly Rs 1.2 lakh more expensive. This additional cost is justified by the inclusion of features such as a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, a rear defogger, and LED fog lamps.

Features
Inside, the new GX (O) variant features a chestnut theme with soft-touch materials on the dashboard and doors. The new fabric seat covers further distinguish it from the GX trim. Interestingly, features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and a retractable rear sunshade are available with the Innova Hycross GX (O) 7-seater version only. Colour Options
The new variant is offered in seven paint schemes: Avant Garde Bronze Metallic, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Silver Metallic, Super White, Platinum White Pearl, and Attitude Black Mica.
Engine Setup
Similar to the other variants, the new Toyota Innova Hycross GX (O) is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine producing a maximum power of 172bhp and 205Nm of torque, mated to a CVT gearbox. The non-hybrid version of the MPV is claimed to deliver a mileage of 16.13kmpl.
Additionally, the Innova Hycross is available with a 2.0L, 4-cylinder Atkinson strong hybrid powertrain, which returns a claimed power of 172bhp and 205Nm of torque. The strong hybrid is available only with the higher VX, ZX, and ZX (O) trims. The MPV model line comes with a front-wheel-drive setup, and there is no manual gearbox option.
