Aprilia RS 457 accessories list revealed; prices out

– Gets 12 official accessories

– Priced between Rs. 899 to Rs. 29,925

Aprilia has revealed the list of accessories for the RS 457 in India and the prices of some of them may come as a shocker. The Aprilia RS 457 is offered with 12 official accessories that are specifically designed, developed, and tested for the motorcycle. Sadly, Aprilia is yet to reveal the images of the accessories.

While some of the accessories are priced on the affordable side of the spectrum, others are eye-wateringly exorbitant. For instance, the electronic anti-theft assembly costs Rs. 29,925, while the front brake lever protection is priced at Rs. 29,825. Similarly, the bi-directional quickshifter and the racing brake pads are pegged at Rs. 27,799 and Rs. 9,349 respectively.

We believe that things like the racing brake pads and the bi-directional quickshifter should’ve been offered as standard, especially when these features are offered as standard on some of its competitors. Here’s the detailed pricing of all the accessories.

Coming back to the RS 457, it is powered by a 457cc, parallel-twin motor that features a 270-degree crankshaft and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motor delivers a maximum output of 46.7bhp at 9,400rpm and a peak torque of 43.5Nm at 6,700rpm.

The Aprilia RS 457 is a direct rival to the Yamaha YZF-R3, but it will also face competition from the likes of the KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR, and the TVS Apache RR 310.
