New Mahindra XUV 3XO Price Expectations & All Key Details

We all aware of the fact that the heavily updated Mahindra XUV300 subcompact SUV will be introduced with a new nameplate – the Mahindra XUV 3XO. The facelifted version will come significantly improved interior, segment-first features, and improved styling. While the engine setup will be carried forward from the pre-facelift model, it will get a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox sourced from Aisin. Let’s talk about in detail.

Top Features

The official teasers confirm that the forthcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO will be the first vehicle in its segment to come with the dual zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. The subcompact SUV also gets remote control for the AC system via new Adrenox Connect app. It could also provide remote functions for door lock/unlock, infotainment control and diagnostic tools. Similar to the new XUV400 EV, the XUV 3XO will have dual 10.25-inch screens – one for the infotainment and one for the digital driver display. It’s yet to be known whether the new Mahindra subcompact SUV will get ADAS tech or miss out on it.

Same Engines, New AT Gearbox

As mentioned above, no changes will be made in the engine bay. It will continue to come with the 110bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol, 131bhp, 1.2L direct-injection turbo petrol and 117bhp, 1.5L diesel engine options. However, the new 6-speed automatic gearbox will be offered with the 131bhp, petrol motor. Buyers will continue to have a choice among the 6-speed manual and AMT gearboxes as well.

Expected Prices

Prices of the XUV 3XO are scheduled to be announced on 29th April and its deliveries are likely to begin on the same. The outgoing Mahindra XUV300 model lineup is currently available within the price range of Rs 7.99 lakh – Rs 14.76 lakh (ex-showroom). With noticeable upgrades inside and out, the XUV 3XO is expected to be priced nearly Rs 1 lakh premium over its predecessor. That means, its base variant could be priced around Rs 9 lakh and the top-end variant might cost nearly Rs 15 lakh.
