Ultraviolette fast charging station setup commences!

– Charging stations set across Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu

– More than 100 charging stations are to be set in Phase 1

– These stations will get two 6kW and two 3kW DC fast chargers

Ultraviolette has commenced with the setup for its fast charging stations across the country. The brand aims to introduce more than 100- fast chargers in the first phase. Of these, 10 have already been installed across Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

Ultraviolette calls it the Supernova DC fast charger and has introduced a couple of 6kW and 3kW DC fast chargers. These meet the standards recognized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The Ultraviolette F77 can be topped up from 20 percent to 80 percent in 40 to 60 minutes.

This should aid in enhancing the overall user experience for the buyers with better-charging infrastructure leading to more usability as well. We tested the F77 Recon last year and managed to get more than 200km of range in one go. This is a substantial figure and should suffice the user’s daily commuting needs to an extent. But with the addition of the Supernova fast chargers, owners can plan intercity rides as well. Furthermore, it also eliminates the need to carry the portable charger in a separate backpack everywhere.

As of now, Ultraviolette only has one product on sale, which is the F77 electric motorcycle. There are multiple variants of it – Original, Recon, and Space Edition. The three trims differ in terms of pricing, power output, features, and colour schemes. Ultraviolette has equipped the F77 with a 29kW motor mated with a 10.3kWh battery. The claimed range for the F77 Recon model is 307km and its top speed is 147kmph.

The Ultraviolette F77 has no direct rivals in India as of now and is also the most expensive Indian electric motorcycle.
