2024 Kawasaki Z900 Review – Image Gallery

Kawasaki has been updating its product portfolio in the last few months with new launches and upgrades to its existing models. In this process, the Z900 received minor tweaks and a small price bump. We recently tested the bike and here is our take on it.

We clocked close to 1,000km riding the current most affordable Z in Kawasaki’s lineup and one thing that is evident from the get-go is its road presence. The 2024 Kawasaki Z900 looks muscular and sleek at the same time. Its fascia is distinct and quite attractive.

The overall fit and finish are nice, nothing to complain about. But when you move towards its features list, the current package is, just decent. Along with LED illumination, Kawasaki has loaded the Z900 with two power modes – Low and Full.

Additionally, you also get four ride modes – Rain, Road, Sport and Rider, traction control and dual-channel ABS. But, what would make the overall package worthy is a quickshifter and lean-sensitive traction control system.

Powering the 2024 Z900 is a 948cc inline four-cylinder engine that makes 125bhp and 98.6Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Now, even with so much power at its disposal, the Z900 is rather well-behaved and sophisticated.

You can ride the bike in the city at slow speeds in higher gears and the engine doesn’t break a sweat. Even the heat dissipation was unexpected. We rode the Z900 in tight city traffic and were impressed by how well the engine temperature was managed.

Not to mention, the inline four-cylinder rumble is as addictive as it gets. Once you start accelerating and are in the upper echelon of speeds, the riding experience is so engaging.

There are quite a few other areas like the handling and the ride quality too that we found to work in the Kawasaki Z900’s favour. Read our road test review for a detailed explanation and to know whether you should spend Rs. 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) on the Kawasaki Z900.
