Your weekly dose of bike updates: Ather Rizta, 2024 KTM 250 Duke, and more!

The last week was quite eventful as we saw a bunch of new launches taking place. The adventure touring segment, in particular, witnessed exciting new entrants while the EV space also became more competent with the launch of a new family electric scooter from Ather. If you’re still unaware of these developments, here’s a quick round-up.

Ather Rizta launch

Ather launched its new family-oriented electric scooter, the Rizta in India. It joins the Ather 450-series electric scooters in the company’s portfolio and is available in two variants- S and Z. The Rizta S has a 2.9kWh battery that offers a true range of 105km while the Z trim is available with two battery options, the 2.9kW battery as on the ‘S’ and a bigger, 3.7kWh battery with a true range of 125km. 2024 KTM 250 Duke new colour

KTM India introduced a new colour option for its 250 Duke street naked motorcycle. Instead of giving the new colour a fancy name, they’ve simply termed it as Black and Blue. The colour is far more subtle than the shouty Ceramic White and Electronic Orange colours that the 250 Duke was available with so far.

2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 launch

Kawasaki brought the 2024 Versys 650 to the Indian shores. The Japanese adventure tourer has received just a cosmetic update in the form of two new paint schemes – Metallic Flat Spark Black and Metallic Matte Dark Gray. The engine, hardware, and features are untouched for the 2024 model. It is powered by the same 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 65.7 bhp and 61 Nm. The setup is paired with a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper clutch.

2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 launch date

Bajaj Auto sent an invitation for the official launch of the 2024 Pulsar N250. It’s scheduled to take place on 10 April, 2024 and, interestingly, we’ll be riding the motorcycle on the same day. While the company has kept all the details about its updates under wraps, we recently managed to get our hands on an exclusive scoop about the bike which you can go through by clicking on the above link.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 tyres

Customers of the new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 have been crying foul ever since news of the motorcycle being dispatched with Apollo tyres instead of Pirelli tyres surfaced. At the time of launch and during the first ride of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 a few weeks ago, the bike was seen shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. However, they aren’t available anymore.
