2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 – What to expect?

The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 is all-set to be launched in India. In fact, Bajaj Auto has released a new teaser of the Pulsar N250, hinting at its imminent launch. In this article, we will give you a detailed lowdown on what to expect from the updated N250.

Updated cycle parts

We recently revealed in our exclusive story that the 2024 Pulsar N250 will get upside-down front forks in place of the telescopic units on the outgoing model. These could be similar to the ones seen on the Pulsar NS200, and should offer better stability and front-end feel around corners as well as on straight roads.

Apart from the USD forks, the motorcycle is also expected to get a wider 140-section rear tyre, as against the 130-section rubber on the old model. The rest of the cycle parts will continue to be similar to the previous iteration.

More safety features

The new Bajaj Pulsar N250 will also get more safety features for 2024. This will include three ABS modes with an option to switch off the ABS intervention on the rear wheel, and a traction control system. That said, it remains to be seen whether the system will be switchable or not.

Digital console

Another feature addition on the new N250 will be a fully-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. The negative LCD unit will display a plethora of ridership information such as call and SMS alerts, gear-position indicator, distance to empty and more. The ability to pair your smartphone could also enable turn-by-turn navigation.

New paint schemes

Another update will come in the form of new paint schemes. The motorcycle will be offered in two new dual-tone colours with fresh new graphics.

Same power plant

Meanwhile, Bajaj is unlikely to make any changes to the Pulsar N250’s power plant. This comes as a bummer as we would’ve welcomed the introduction of a six-speed gearbox in the N250. The current five-speed unit is the limiting factor in an otherwise rev-happy and potent motor. That said, the 249cc, oil-cooled engine churns out 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm of peak torque.

Price and launch date

With all these changes, we expect Bajaj to bump the bike’s price by around Rs. 10,000. So, expect a price tag of Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom) for the new N250. As for its launch timeline, Bajaj will launch the 2024 Pulsar N250 on 10 April.
