Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Price Expectations & Specs –Launch Tomorrow

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is set to go on sale in India tomorrow, May 3, 2024. Before its official launch, clear images have surfaced, revealing its design and features. The leaked model is painted in a black shade with contrasting red and white graphics. Its design seems inspired by its younger sibling, the Pulsar NS200. The ‘NS’ graphic is embossed on the fuel tank, while ‘NS400’ stickers are displayed on the projector headlight and rear section. The 17-inch alloy wheels with a black finish and red rim stickers add to its sporty appearance.

Additional styling elements include bolt-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED indicators, twin LED taillights, a two-piece seat, faux vents on the side panels, Dominar-inspired rearview mirrors, a single-piece handlebar with adjustable brake and clutch levers, and split grab rails at the rear. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be available in four color schemes: Grey with Neon Yellow accents, Grey with Red accents, White, and Red.

The suspension setup for the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 includes USD (upside-down) forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike features a new floating front disc brake with axially mounted calipers, along with a rear disc brake, which are further assisted by Grimeca brake calipers and dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

In terms of features, the Pulsar NS400 offers a color LCD unit with a TFT inset for turn-by-turn navigation. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to make and receive calls, get SMS alerts, and view information such as phone battery and signal indicators. The leaked images also reveal that the bike comes with four riding modes: Road, Sport, Rain, and Off-Road, along with traction control.

In terms of pricing, the “biggest Pulsar ever”—the Pulsar NS400—will be positioned below the Bajaj Dominar 400, which is available at Rs 2,30,815. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 2 lakh to compete with the TVS Apache RTR 310, KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
