KTM 390 Adventure Enduro spotted!

– Spotted at a probable storage unit

– Features a tall front fender and tubular handlebar

– Will be powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the 390 Duke

The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro version has been spotted once again. It seemed like the bike was parked in a storage unit and the new image reveals a few details of the upcoming Austrian off-roader.

On the design front, the Enduro model appears notably distinct from the standard 390 Adventure. It gets a hexagonal headlight with a small strip above to mount the license plate, a tall fender below, LED turn indicators on the sides, and a plastic cowl all around. The Enduro also gets a flat handlebar and it seems to ride on USD front forks along with block pattern tyres.

From the previously spotted test bike, we also know that the KTM 390 Adventure Enduro gets a flat seat, an engine crash guard, a bash plate, and a saree guard. The bike is likely to get adjustable front forks and a rear monoshock to offer a better range of settings for off-roading.

It is likely to use the same 399cc, liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the 390 Duke. For reference, the motor makes 45.3bhp and 39Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The setup benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter.

KTM 390 Adventure Enduro could get conventional spoke wheels and not the cross-spoke units. The benefit of using the latter is it can be shod with tubeless tyres whereas the conventional spoke wheels need tubed tyres. This further adds to the trouble of punctures.

KTM could price the 390 Adventure Enduro around Rs. 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and launch it sometime next year.
