Kia EV6 facelift: what all will be new?
Just like the updated Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is what it is based on, the EV6 will get mild design tweaks on the outside so that it looks like newer Kia EVs sold globally. Expect a completely new set of headlights featuring thinner LED graphics for a more modern look. The grille will have a more pronounced “tiger nose” look and there’s a refreshed front bumper expected, all creating a stronger 3D effect.
Changes are fewer when viewed at the back. The tail-lamp graphics are new and do not get vertical elements now. Expect the EV6 to also get a new-look rear bumper, along with fresh designs for the alloy wheels.
On the inside, expect an updated infotainment system, a new-look steering wheel, and new shades for the interior upholstery. Also, there will be some tweaks to its ADAS suite with new updates, some more safety features and tech add-ons.
Kia EV6 facelift: new battery with more range expected
The refreshed EV6 will likely get the new 84kWh battery pack that made its debut on the updated Ioniq 5, which used to have a 77.4kWh unit. This will also help improve range. The single- and dual-motor powertrains will likely be carried over, including the one seen in the flagship Kia EV6 GT.
Expect Kia to roll out the refreshed EV6 in Korea initially, followed by other markets.
