Royal Enfield has announced the fourth season of the Continental GT Cup in India. Registrations for the GT Cup have opened already, which encourages amateur and prospective racers to showcase their racing talent in this retro-style racing program.

For 2024, Royal Enfield is expanding its reach with zonal selections in Guwahati, Bangalore, Pune, and New Delhi. These races will give amateur riders a chance to showcase their skills and potentially qualify for the main event. The top 12 riders from each zone will advance to the final selections in Kari, Coimbatore. Eventually, these 48 amateur riders will battle it out against 50 professional riders, and the 12 fastest riders will earn a place on the final grid. Selection round details are as follows.

Guwahati 25-26 May, 2024
Bangalore 1-2 June, 2024
Pune 8-9 June, 2024
Delhi 15-16 June, 2024

Royal Enfield is keeping the popular Pro-Am format, where amateurs and professionals race wheel-to-wheel. This year, they’re adding a new twist to the competition by introducing teams. Each professional rider will be paired with an amateur, creating a whole new strategic element to the race.

The season kicks off in June with the final selections from 27-30 June, 2024 at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. The racing spectacle will have three rounds and eight races. The official races will take place across three weekends in September (9-11 and 13-15) and November (15-17), with the grand finale culminating at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida.

Similar to the previous three seasons, the Continental GT Cup will be a part of the JK National Racing Championship 2024 and is certified by the Federation of Motorsports Cub on India (FMSCI). The Continental GT Cup is all about making track racing accessible. It’s a chance for motorcycle enthusiasts of all levels to experience the thrill of competition.
