50,000 Mahindra XUV 3XO Units Booked In First 1 Hour

In just one day, Mahindra & Mahindra opened the booking window for the XUV 3XO subcompact SUV and gathered 50,000 orders within one hour. The first 27,000 bookings were received in the first 10 minutes. To ensure on-time delivery despite the high demand, Mahindra is producing 9,000 units of the vehicle monthly, along with an initial allotment of 10,000 manufactured units. The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes in nine trims and three engine options, rivaling the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and other cars in the sub-4 meter SUV segment. Its prices start from Rs 7.49 lakh and go up to Rs 15.49 lakh (all ex-showroom).

The interior of the Mahindra XUV 3XO shares a resemblance with the XUV400 EV, particularly in the dashboard design. The subcompact SUV features a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, dual-zone climate control, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Adrenox Connect in-car connectivity suite, rear AC vents, wireless charger, rear Type-C charger, and many more features. It has a 940mm long and 870mm wide panoramic sunroof, which is the first and largest in the segment. Compared to its previous model (XUV300), the new one offers more boot space along with 60:40 split-folding seats as standard.

All variants of the Mahindra XUV 3XO come with six airbags, an electronic stability program, rear disc brakes, and Isofix anchors. Safety features such as hill start and hill descent assist, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, blind spot monitor, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS tech are exclusively offered with the top-end variants.

Engine options for the XUV 3XO include a 111bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol, a 131bhp, 1.2L direct injection turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. The 111bhp, 1.2L gasoline unit is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options, while the 131bhp, 1.2L TGDi petrol comes with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT transmissions. The diesel engine can be paired only with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
