Audi India has rolled out the new Q7 Bold Edition at Rs 97.84 lakh, thus making it nearly Rs 3.3 lakh more expensive than the top-end Technology trim of the SUV. The latter one comes with a price tag of Rs 94.45 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. Only limited units of this special editions will be sold in the market. The Audi Q7 Bold Edition is being offered in four colour options – Navarra Blue, Glacier White, Samurai Grey and Mythos Black.
What’s Special?
The new Audi Q7 Bold Edition comes with the Black Styling Pack offering sporty black treatment on the front grille, gloss black finish on the Audi logos, black window surround, wing mirrors and roof rails. Nothing has been changed inside the cabin. The Bold Edition of the Q7 SUV comes with the same set of features including 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system, foot-operated electronic powered tailgate, air quality sensor with air fragrance, USB charging port for rear occupants, a 360 degree camera, four zone climate control, wireless phone charger, cruise control, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, power adjustable front seats with memory function for driver and more.
For the safety provision, the SUV offers eight airbags, hill hold assist, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors with rear view camera. Some of its other highlights include Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic turn indicators, 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, adaptive windshield wipers, ORVMs with heating, folding, auto dimming and memory function, and adaptive air suspension.
Under the hood!
Powering the Audi Q7 Bold Edition is the same 3.0L V6 petrol engine that does duty in the regular model. The motor, with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, delivers a maximum power of 335bhp and 500Nm of torque. The SUV comes with the Quattro AWD (all-wheel drive) system and seven drive modes – Auto, Dynamic, Comfort, Efficiency, All-Road, Off-Road and Individual.
