Nissan Magnite Geza CVT Launch Price Rs 9.84 Lakh

In May 2023, Nissan India introduced the Magnite Geza special edition at a starting price of Rs 7.39 lakh. This special edition was available exclusively in one variant, powered by a 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, with a 5-speed manual transmission. Now, the carmaker has launched the Nissan Magnite Geza CVT special edition at Rs 9.84 lakh (ex-showroom). Similar to its manual counterpart, the CVT version comes in five colour options: Storm White, Sandstone Brown, Flare Garnet Red, Onyx Black, and Blade Silver.

The Nissan Magnite Geza CVT special edition offers optional beige seat upholstery along with ambient lighting controlled via a phone app. It also features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a rearview camera with trajectory lines, JBL speakers, Geza badges, and a shark fin antenna.

In other updates, the Nissan Magnite is set to receive its first mid-life update by early 2025. Latest spy images indicate that the changes will be minimal. The engine setup will remain the same. The Magnite facelift is expected to feature a slightly updated front grille, headlamp clusters, and LED signatures. The front and rear bumpers might also be revised, and the subcompact SUV could get newly-designed alloy wheels and new exterior colour options.

Looking ahead, Nissan plans to introduce two new SUVs based on the new-generation Renault Duster and an A-segment EV. The upcoming Nissan SUVs (one a 5-seater and the other with a three-row arrangement) will share the platform and powertrains with the new Duster but will feature a different design language. The new Nissan EV, based on the CMF-B EV platform, will be designed and developed at the Renault Nissan Technology Business Centre India R&D center.
