Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen edition in India at the All You Can Street Festival (AYCS). The Red Sheen is priced at Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and is the top-spec variant alongside the Black Mirror edition.
The 42 Bobber Red Sheen edition features a dual-tone red and chrome finish on the fuel tank and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The latter offers the convenience of tubeless tyres. Besides the new paint scheme and alloy wheels, the 42 Bobber remains unchanged.
Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen edition is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 29.51bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox that benefits from an assist and slipper clutch.
In terms of cycle parts, the motorcycle is suspended by telescopic front forks and a preload adjustable rear mono-shock. Meanwhile, braking power comes from disc brakes at both ends along with the safety net of dual-channel ABS. It also gets a two-step adjustable seat, full LED lighting, digital instrument console, and a USB charging port.
