BMW Motorrad announces price hike from January 2025

BMW Motorrad has announced a price hike across its entire model range in India from January 2025. The company says the prices will be hiked up to Rs 2.5 per cent. BMW has attributed the reason for the price hike to an increase in input costs as well as the rise in inflation. The price hike will help the company maintain profitability as well as quality levels.

Everything from the BMW G 310 R to the S 1000 RR and the R 1300 GS will be dearer from next year onwards. BMW is the second premium motorcycle manufacturer in India to announce a price hike. Ducati India recently announced their intent to raise prices from next year onwards.

The price hike announcement should also help drive sales in the last month of this year when sales are usually at a lower point considering the slowdown in demand. This, perhaps, is a good time to also look for end-of-year discounts and benefits, if you are in the market for a two-wheeler.

As for BMW, the next year looks busy with the production version of the F 450 GS set to unveiled. The mid-size ADV is going up against bikes like the Aprilia Tuareg 457 that is also likely to debut next year.
