2025 Yamaha MT-03: What is new?

The 2025 Yamaha MT-03 has been updated for 2025. The street bike has received few yet notable changes. Here is what’s new.

New assist and slip clutch

The Yamaha MT-03 has received an assist and slip clutch. This will significantly reduce the effort at the lever while changing gears. The slipper function, meanwhile, will prevent wheel hop while aggressive downshifting.

New colour introduced

Yamaha has introduced a new Ice Storm colour on the bike. The white colour of the bodywork contrasts with the blue stripes and the blue coloured wheels on the bike. It certainly appears bold and should appeal to those to want a bike that grabs attention.

New Bluetooth enabled LCD

The MT-03 also gets a new LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. This adds another layer of convenience and brings the bike up to date with some of the competition. The cluster has to turn-by-turn navigation and alerts them about incoming calls and messages.

The rest of the 2025 Yamaha MT-03 is the same as the outgoing bike. It has a a 321cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor which makes 42bhp and 29.6Nm.

Yamaha is likely to introduce the bike at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo in January.
