The Ather 450 Apex has received a few yet significant updates for 2025. Here is all that is new.
New traction control modes
The Ather 450 Apex gets a new traction control system with three modes- Road, Rain and Rally. The modes alter the level of intervention of the TC system. So, in Rain mode, for example, the traction control system is the most sensitive while in Rally, it will allow some amount of slip to allow one to engage in shenanigans. For those who are adventurous, the traction control can be switched off as well.
New tyres
The electric scooter gets new MRF Zapper N e-Tred tyres, which are of the low resistance type. They are said to significantly improve battery range. Ather claims that these tyres have improved battery efficiency and the true range of the 450 Apex has risen from 105km to 130km.
The rest of the scooter is the same as before. As the name suggests, the Apex is the top-spec 450-series electric scooter in Ather’s portfolio. It can get to 40kmph from standstill in 2.9 seconds and is capable of hitting a top speed of 100kmph. The Ather 450 Apex is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
