– Will be Suzuki’s first electric scooter for India

The Suzuki Access Electric is going to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This will be Suzuki’s first electric scooter for India. The scooter may be called the e Access as the ICE Access 125 is a popular scooter and will have good brand recall.
While details about the scooter are few, Suzuki is likely to stick to a conservative design for the Access Electric. It may have similar design cues as the ICE scooter.
Expect Suzuki to plonk a swingarm-mounted motor and a battery with a capacity to offer a real-world range of 100km, if not more.
As for the chassis, expect an underbone frame with a telescopic fork at one end and a monoshock at the rear. Expect the scooter to ride on 12-inch wheels and have a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.
As is the case with most electric scooters, the Suzuki Access Electric is expected to get a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth and navigation.
Once launched, the Access Electric will go up against the Honda Activa e: as well as the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and the Bajaj Chetak.
