New Honda NX200 launched in India at Rs 1.68 lakh

– CB200X rebranded to NX200

– Priced at Rs 1.68 lakh

– Gets new TFT cluster

Honda India has launched the new NX200 in India at Rs. 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The NX200 is a rebranded CB200X which has been on sale in India for a few years now.

With this new addition, Honda is selling two NX range of motorcycles in India, with the NX500 being the other one. It looks like Honda decided to rebrand the CB200X to NX200 as the NX has better brand recall and value in India.

In terms of styling, the NX200 gets some minor design additions, however, the majority of the styling has been left untouched. However, there are major feature upgrades that have been done on the motorcycle. It now gets a dual-channel ABS and a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth integration.

The NX200 gets the same 184cc single-cylinder engine but is now OBD2B compliant. The performance figure is similar but there’s no information on the claimed fuel efficiency.

The Honda NX200 will be sold through the company’s premium dealerships and will be available in three colours. The bookings have already commenced, and the deliveries are expected to begin from March.
