Ducati DesertX Discovery India launch tomorrow

– Expected to be priced north of Rs. 20 lakh

– Gets dedicated pain scheme

– Gets aluminium sump guard, centre stand, and more as standard

The new Ducati DesertX Discovery is all set to be launched tomorrow in India. The bike gets a dedicated red and black paint scheme, hard-case panniers, engine sump guard, taller windscreen, and centre stand as standard.

The Ducati DesertX Discovery has always looked purposeful, however, with these touring accessories, it should also be more capable as a highway mile muncher.

The bike is powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine that makes 108bhp at 9,250rpm and 92Nm. It is equipped with a comprehensive electronics suite that includes ride modes, traction control, power modes, cruise control, and more.

In terms of hardware, the bike has a 46mm, fully adjustable, USD fork and a KYB monoshock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by twin 320mm front discs and a single 265mm rear disc.

We expect Ducati to price the DesertX Discovery around Rs. 21 lakh.
