Hero Xpulse 210 Rally prototype makes official debut

– New Xpulse 210 Rally prototype unveiled

– Likely to make more power than the standard model

– Production Xpulse 210 launched at Rs. 1.76 lakh

Hero MotoCorp unveiled its new Xpulse 210 a few months ago and also released the bike’s prices. But this is the first time the Xpulse 210 Rally has been revealed to the world in prototype form.

Based on the new 210 platform, the Xpulse 210 Rally looks identical to the production model but has better cycle parts to make it go faster in the dirt. The bike is seen with a different headlamp cowl, rally-styled handguards, and a different tail section too. The tyres are from Maxxis and are purely off-road ready. The suspension system is different on the bike; however, it is difficult to get the specs of this system from these pictures.

While this rally Xpulse uses the same 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, it is likely to make more power and torque as it has been made for rally racing. Sadly, Hero hasn’t revealed this figure yet, but expect it to come out after a few months of racing.

The production version of the new Xpulse 210 has been launched at Rs. 1.76 lakh (ex-showroom), and the bookings have already commenced. The deliveries, though, which were earlier planned in March, are rumoured to be delayed.

As of now, there’s no direct competitor to the new Xpulse 210 due to its price point. The soon-to-be-launched TVS RTX 300 could come very close to it.
