– Pulsar N160 gets two new colours in Latin America
– Gets the same updates as the India-spec model
Bajaj has launched the 2024 edition of the Pulsar N160 in the Latin American market. Amongst all the changes it has received, the most interesting one is the introduction of two new colour options which look quite swanky.
One of these is a glossy dual-tone combination of dark blue and silver shades along with subtle red streaks on the fuel tank extensions, tail, and headlamp cowl. The other trim boasts a grey fuel tank and front fender along with green tank extensions, headlamp and tail, all in matte finish.
Just like the India-spec bike, the Pulsar N160 has received a new digital console overseas. This is a negative LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity for giving access to call and message notifications. Plus, it comes equipped with a dual-channel ABS setup as standard.
Powering the bike is a 164.82cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 15.68bhp and 14.65Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. It tips the scales at 152kg (kerb) which makes it a light and easy-to-handle offering. The fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres. As for the cycle parts, the Pulsar N160 is underpinned by a tubular frame and rides on 17-inch wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is priced at Rs. 1.33 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes against the like Hero Xtreme 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and Yamaha FZ FI.
