Kawasaki India has announced yet another discount offer on the Ninja 400. The Japanese sport tourer is being offered at a Rs. 40,000 discount on the original ex-showroom price of Rs. 5.24 lakh. Just a couple of months ago, Kawasaki announced Rs. 35,000 off on the same bike. Moreover, the new discount is only valid until 31 March 2024 or till the stock lasts and it includes the GST amount as well.
The latest discount on the Kawasaki Ninja 400 comes shortly after the brand launched the Ninja 500. Both models were priced similarly until now. We tested the Ninja 400 and were impressed by its performance and overall comfort. Powering the bike is a 399cc parallel-twin cylinder motor that makes 47.5bhp and 38Nm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Then, Kawasaki has also equipped the Ninja 400 with features like LED illumination, a semi-digital console with a speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, and more. Its safety net includes the dual-channel ABS. The Ninja 400 rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock while the brakes include a single front and rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels.
There are other alternatives in the 300-400cc category that not only offer more features but also cost less than the Kawasaki Ninja 400. The list includes KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Aprilia RS 457 and the Yamaha YZF-R3.
