Suzuki has revealed the list of accessories for the V-Strom 800DE in India. The motorcycle is offered with 15 official accessories with prices starting from Rs. 3,831. Suzuki has specifically designed, developed, and tested the accessories for the V-Strom 800DE.
That said, the accessories are priced exorbitantly as they are imported into the country. For instance, the 37-litre aluminium side cases are priced at Rs. 1.38 lakh for a pair, while the saddle stays for the side cases cost Rs. 64,453. The 56-litre plastic top case will set you back by Rs. 54,188, while the aluminium top box is priced at Rs. 64,416. Here’s the detailed pricing of all the accessories.

Now, these accessories may seem expensive on the face of it. Still, given that these are designed and developed as per Suzuki’s global standards, and expected to last the motorcycle’s lifecycle, the pricing seems acceptable if not fair.
Coming back to the V-Strom 800DE, it is powered by a 776cc, parallel-twin motor that features a 270-degree crankshaft and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The DOHC motor delivers a maximum output of 84bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 78Nm at 6,800rpm.
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is a direct rival to the Honda Transalp 750, but it will also face competition from the likes of the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport, and the BMW F850GS.
