Mahindra & Mahindra has finally expanded its Bolero Neo SUV model lineup with the new Bolero Neo+ 9-seater version. The new model is being made available in two trim levels – P4 and P10 – priced at Rs 11.39 lakh and Rs 12.49 lakh, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. When compared to the Bolero Neo 7-seater variant, the Mahindra Bolero Neo+ is nearly Rs 1.49 lakh and Rs 1 lakh more expensive. The carmaker offers it in three colour options, namely, Diamond White, Majestic Silver and Napoli Black.
While design and styling of the Bolero Neo+ remain exactly similar to younger counterpart, it measures 4.4 meters in length and have more cabin space. In terms of features, the SUV offers a 22.8cm touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, Aux and USB connectivity, a height adjustable driver’s seat, front and rear power windows and armrests, electrically adjustable ORVMs and an anti-glare IRVM.
Powering the Mahindra Bolero Neo+ is a new 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that returns a claimed power of 118bhp and 280Nm of torque. The SUV gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and RWD wheel. Compared to the Bolero Neo that comes with the 100bhp, 1.5L diesel motor, it’s slightly more powerful.
On other fresh updates, the indigenous automaker is getting ready to launch the Mahindra XUV 3XO on 29th April 2024. It’s essentially the heavily updated XUV300 featuring completely revised design, more upmarket interior, high tech and a new Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
Interestingly, the XUV 3XO will be the first car in its segment to feature a panoramic sunroof. It could also get the Level 2 ADAS tech, a 360 degree camera and ventilated front seats. Similar to the XUV300, the new Mahindra XUV 3XO will use the 1.5L diesel, 1.2L direct injection turbo and 1.2L turbo petrol engines. Transmission options will include a new 6-speed automatic, a 6-speed manual and an AMT unit.
