While the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z stole the show last week with its incredible price tag, there were more developments taking place in the Indian two-wheeler industry that were worth paying attention to. And just like every Sunday, we bring you a round-up of the five most important bike stories of the week.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z launch

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh. What you get for that enticing price is a long list of features like switchable traction control, a design similar to the Pulsar NS200, and a 373cc, liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the Dominar 400. Bookings for the bike are open and deliveries will start soon.

Ampere Nexus launch

Ampere Electric launched their all-new electric scooter, the Nexus at an introductory price of Rs 1.10 lakh. This is their first, premium electric scooter and it is based on a brand-new platform. Propelling the scooter is a new 4kW electric motor that can push it to a top speed of 93kmph in ‘Power’ mode. This motor is powered by a new, 3kWh battery which is of the LFP type and has a certified range of 136km.

Ducati DesertX Rally launch

Ducati India brought the 2024 DesertX Rally to our shores with a price tag of Rs 23.7 lakh. This is the more hardcore off-road version of the already very capable DesertX. It gets dedicated off-road suspension that’s developed by KYB, lighter yet stronger Takasago Excel wire-spoke rims, a high-mount front mudguard, and a 910mm rally seat amongst other changes over the standard bike.

2024 Harley-Davidson prices

Hero MotoCorp announced the prices for the entire 2024 line-up of Harley-Davidson motorcycles for India. Besides, the company has also launched the 2024 iterations of the Road Glide and Street Glide tourers while re-introducing the Breakout 117 in the country. KTM 390 Adventure Enduro spotted

The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro version has been spotted once again. It seemed like the bike was parked in a storage unit and the new image reveals a few details of the upcoming Austrian off-roader. It appears notably distinct from the standard 390 Adventure and is likely to use KTM’s new 399cc, liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the 390 Duke. For more details, click on the story link.
