It looks like Kawasaki is having a massive stock clearance activity in India. After offering cash discounts on some of its Ninja series, the company is now offering a discount on the Z900.
The Z900 is one of the highest-selling big bikes in India. In fact, it contributes a large chunk of Kawasaki’s sales. However, as the New Year is just a fortnight away, and Indian consumers don’t buy new vehicles in December, the Japanese brand has decided to offer a discount of Rs 40,000 on the Z900.
The Z900 is priced at around Rs 9.4 lakh (ex-showroom), but now with such a large discount, the bike retails at Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). This discount is applicable till stock last and there’s a high possibility that the discount won’t be seen at all Kawasaki showrooms. As it is a stock clearance sale, the dealers with a decent stock of the Z900 will only offer this discount.
December is a great month to buy new motorcycles and scooters. There are always some good cash discounts available along with other add-ons. Plus, from January most of the brands increase the price and that makes bikes and scooters quite expensive. So if you don’t care about the resale value of the bikes, December is the best month to buy a motorcycle.
