The Honda Gold Wing celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, and to commemorate the same, the company has rolled out a special edition of the motorcycle. The anniversary edition Gold Wing features cosmetic differences from the standard bike and gets added features as well.
Beginning with the design, the Gold Wing 50th Anniversary Edition shares its body panels with the standard bike. However, it has new and rather striking colours called Bordeaux Red Metallic and Eternal Gold. Both of these colourways have neat, two-tone inserts that enhance the appearance of the bike.
Honda has updated the speakers and has made Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard offerings. In addition to this, the TFT screen displays a new welcome message that reads the year of introduction of the first ever Honda Gold Wing in 1975. Rounding off the list of additions are two Type-C ports to charge your mobile devices.
Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. The Honda Gold Wing is powered by a 1,833cc, liquid-cooled, six-cylinder engine that makes 124bhp and 170Nm.
Honda is expected to bring a few units of the 50th Anniversary Gold Wing to India later this year. Expect it to be priced north of Rs. 40 lakh, ex-showroom.
