- Gets IDC range of 165km
- Powered by a 14.5bhp/505Nm electric motor
- Priced at Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 customers
Besides the Tesseract electric scooter, Ultraviolette Automotive has also launched the Shockwave off-road enduro bike in India at Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the motorcycle will be available for Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 customers.
The Ultraviolette Shockwave is based on a new lightweight platform that has been specifically designed for roadster and off-road bikes. Unlike most track-only enduro bikes, the Shockwave is a street-legal off-road machine.
It is powered by a 14.5bhp electric motor, paired with a 4kWh battery pack. The motorcycle offers an IDC range of 165km on a full charge and can sprint from 0-60kph in 2.9 seconds. The electric motor offers a peak torque of 505Nm and a kerb weight of 120kg, which should make for a fun, fast, and engaging off-road bike. It has a top speed of 120kph.
The Shockwave offers four traction control modes, switchable dual-channel ABS, and six levels of dynamic regeneration. It rides on 19/17-inch wire spoke wheels wrapped on 90/90 R19 and 110/90 R17 dual-purpose tyres. The bike is available in two colours – Cosmic Black and Frost White.
Bookings for the Ultraviolette Shockwave are open on the brand’s official website and across its dealerships, while deliveries will commence in Q1 2026.
