- Rs. 25,000 more expensive than before
- Gets a lower seat and a bigger TFT screen
- Storage space has also been increased
BMW Motorrad India has launched the 2025 iteration of the C 400 GT maxi-scooter in India. The introductory price of the scooter starts from Rs. 11.50 lakh, ex-showroom, which makes it Rs. 25,000 more expensive than its predecessor.
While the overall design of the C 400 GT has remained unchanged, BMW has bestowed the scooter with a new windscreen which is meant to be better at protecting the rider from wind. To make it more accessible, the company has lowered the seat height by 10mm and it has gone down from 775mm to 765mm. Moreover, the company has introduced a new Exclusive variant of the scooter which boasts golden alloy wheels, brake calipers, and graphics, an embroidered emblem on the seat, and a slightly tinted windscreen. It also gets floor lighting with a BMW logo projection and stainless-steel floorboard inserts. Notably, all these elements are optional for an additional sum over the standard trim.
In terms of equipment, the 2025 BMW C 400 GT gets lean-sensitive ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), all as standard. What else comes as standard is a 10.25-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB-C charging port. The size of the front storage compartment and boot space have also been increased. Notably, it now offers a massive 37.6-litre underseat storage space.
What continues to be the same is the 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.5bhp at 7,500rpm and 35Nm at 5,750rpm. It incorporates a 12.8-litre fuel tank and weighs 214kg (kerb). The C 400 GT rides on a 15-14-inch alloy wheel combination with telescopic forks and preload-adjustable dual springs.
