– Moonstone White receives a price cut of around Rs 4,000
– Two variants of the 42 Bobber now get alloy wheels
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new stealth edition of its flagship motorcycle, the Perak. Simultaneously, two variants of the 42 Bobber have been introduced with alloy wheels while the Moonstone White variant of the bike has received a price drop.
The new Stealth model of the Perak boasts a dual-tone combination of matte grey and matte black paint scheme. Moreover, the tank badging and fuel filler cap sport a brass finish while there’s a new quilted tan seat as well. Plus, the company tweaked the overall seating ergonomics of the Perak by moving its footpegs forward by 155mm. Despite these changes, the Perak continues to be priced the same as before at Rs. 2,13,187 (ex-showroom).
The Mystic Copper and Jasper Red variants of the 42 Bobber, which were available only with spoke wheels until now, have received new diamond-cut alloy wheels for 2024. While the former is pegged at Rs. 2,18,900, the latter sets you back by Rs. 2,19,950. Interestingly, they’ll continue to be sold with spoke wheels as well. Meanwhile, the Moonstone White variant of the 42 Bobber, which was previously sold at Rs. 2,13,500, now costs Rs. 2,09,500 (all prices are ex-showroom).
Both bikes continue to share a common 334cc engine that produces 30.2bhp and 32.74 Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. They ride on an 18-17-inch wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
