– Prices revealed on the official website
– Storm R is pegged at Rs. 21.99 lakh
– Storm GT costs Rs. 22.59 lakh
Triumph has listed the 2024 Rocket 3 Storm R and the Storm GT variants on its India website, after unveiling the bikes internationally. The prices of both bikes have also been listed. While the Storm R is pegged at Rs. 21.99 lakh, the Storm GT sets you back by Rs. 22.59 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). Notably, these prices make them nearly Rs. 2 lakh more expensive than their standard counterparts. Now, the official announcement by the brand and the arrival of the bikes at Triumph dealerships should happen soon.
The Storm variants of the Rocket 3 differ from their standard siblings in terms of engine performance, hardware, and aesthetics. While the displacement continues to be the same at 2,485cc with triple cylinders, the power output has been bumped from 165bhp to 180bhp. Moreover, the torque output has also gone up marginally and it stands at a staggering 220Nm now. Triumph has also included lighter 10-spoke aluminium alloy wheels and new Metzeler Cruisetec tyres in place of the previous Avon Cobras.
Another change comes in the form of a revised bodywork which is more blacked-out than any other Rocket 3 model ever produced. The blacked-out components are accompanied by a choice of three different shades – Carnival Red, Satin Pacific Blue, and Sapphire Black. Moreover, some parts like rear frame forging, swingarm guard, risers and handlebar clamps, and footrest sport black-anodised finishing.
On the feature front, the list is the same as the standard models. There’s cruise control, hill hold control, keyless ignition system, and four riding modes. The GT trim, which is a laidback version of the two, also gets heated grips as standard that are available as an option on the R model. One can also opt for a quick shifter, a phone connectivity module for the TFT dash, and a tyre pressure monitoring system by paying a premium.
