The new Mahindra XUV 3XO is getting closer to its launch date, which is 29th April 2024. Ahead of its official arrival, the carmaker has released a few teaser videos revealing its segment-first features and design details. A latest teaser highlights its panoramic sunroof, which is not only the first in the segment but also the largest. The subcompact SUV will also have perforated leatherette upholstery along with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, updated 7-speakers Harman Kardon music system, dual zone climate control, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, ambient sound modes, rear AC vents and more. The dashboard design and steering wheel will also be new. On the safety front, the new XUV 3XO SUV is likely to offer six-seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a 360 degree camera and rear view camera with parking sensors. Rumour has it that the new Mahindra subcompact SUV could get the Level 2 ADAS tech that will surely enhance its safety quotient.

We all are aware of the fact that the Mahindra XUV 3XO is the heavily updated XUV300 deriving its design inspiration from Mahindra’s upcoming BE electric SUV model lineup. Upfront, the subcompact SUV will feature a new grille with chrome assents and revised headlamps with LED DRLs. Some of its other design highlights will include a shark fin antenna, connected LED taillamps and integrated roof spoiler.
When it comes to the engine setup, it’s likely to be carried forward from pre-facelift. That means, the new Mahindra XUV 3XO will use the same 110bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol, 131bhp, 1.2L direct injection turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motors. Buyers will continue to get the 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options along with a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.
Compared to its predecessor, the new XUV 3XO subcompact SUV will surely be slightly more expensive (possibly around Rs 1 lakh). At present, prices of the Mahindra XUV300 start from Rs 7.99 lakh and go up to Rs 14.76 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
