Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have finally entered the Indian electric two-wheeler market with the unveiling of the QC1 electric scooter. It is the Japanese brand’s first electric two-wheeler for India and is accompanied by another model, which we have addressed in a separate story.

On the design front, the Honda QC1 electric scooter looks quite simple and minimalistic. It has clean lines overall and large body panels accommodating the apron LED headlight. A cubby storage space on the inside is offered in five colour options: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pear Serenity Blue, pearl misty white, Pearl Nightstar Black, and matte foggy Silver Metallic.

The Honda QC1 is powered by a 1.5kWh fixed battery pack that offers 80km range and a top speed of 50kmph. The battery fully charges in four hours and 30 minutes. It has two ride modes: Econ and standard. In terms of features, the Honda QC1 electric scooter comprises all LED lights, a five-inch LCD, a USB type-C charging port, and more.

Honda has offered the QC1 a storage capacity of 26-litres. It rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. The braking hardware for the QC1 comprises drum brakes mounted on a 12-inch front and a 10-inch rear alloy wheel.

Honda will reveal the prices for the QC1 in January followed by its delivery in February.
