Besides the Ninja 300, Ninja 650, Versys 650, and the Z900, Kawasaki is also offering discounts and benefits on the Ninja 500. The half-litre Japanese sportbike is being offered with a discount of Rs. 45,000.
Similar to the other models, the said discount coupon can be redeemed against the ex-showroom price of the Ninja 500. With this benefits coupon, the effective price comes down to Rs. 4.84 lakh (ex-showroom). However, even then the Ninja 500 costs nearly Rs. 60,000 more than the Aprilia RS 457 and around Rs. 1.23 lakh dearer than the Yamaha YZF-R3.
The offer is only valid until the end of this month, but we won’t be surprised if Kawasaki extends the offer by a few months. If you overlook the price, the Ninja 500 comes across as an admirable motorcycle with good performance and intuitive handling. The 451cc, parallel-twin engine produces 44.7bhp and 42.6Nm.
