Maruti Suzuki’s Jimny has been struggling to attract buyers ever since its price announcement. The lifestyle off-road SUV was initially introduced in two variants – Zeta and Alpha – priced at Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 15.05 lakh, respectively. Being a Maruti Suzuki, it’s considered quite an expensive offering for buyers. Aiming to boost its sales, the carmaker is constantly offering massive discounts and benefits on it. This time again, the Maruti Jimny is available with a whopping discount of up to Rs 3.3 lakh.
Buyers can avail a cash discount of up to Rs 1.75 lakh on the entry-level Jimny Zeta variant, while the fully-loaded Alpha trim is available with a cash discount of up to Rs 1.8 lakh. There is an additional benefit of up to Rs 1.5 lakh for customers who have opted for Maruti Suzuki’s finance service. It’s important to note that the discount offers may vary with the dealerships and region-wise.

The Maruti Jimny comes with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and two gearbox options – a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. The gasoline unit delivers a claimed power of 105bhp and 134Nm of torque. Features such as Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system with a manual transfer case, a low-range gearbox with ‘2WD-high’, ‘4WD-high’ and ‘4WD-low’ modes, a 3-link rigid axle suspension, ladder-frame chassis, an electronic traction control system, and a ground clearance of 210mm enhance its off-road capabilities.
The Alpha trim gets some exclusive features, including a 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, automatic climate control, keyless entry and go, and automatic LED headlamps. Its standard safety kit includes six airbags, hill hold assist, and an electronic stability program.
