Bengaluru-based EV maker, Ultraviolette, has updated its electric motorcycle offering, the F77. It is now called the F77 Mach 2 and is offered in two variants – standard and Recon. The bike has received notable performance, features, and hardware front updates.
Ultraviolette has carried over the same design for the F77 Mach 2 but the bike now gets a new array of colours. It comes draped in Lighting Blue, Asteroid Grey, Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stealth Grey, Cosmic Black, Plasma Red, Supersonic Silver, and Stellar White. However, there are other subtle changes too. The charging port lid is now made of aluminium, unlike the previous plastic unit. Then the F77 graphics on the front forks have also been added with a new colour.
Powering the F77 Mach 2 is a 27kW motor whereas the Recon uses a 30kW motor. The standard bike gets a 7.1kWh battery and the Recon trim features a 10.3kWh unit that offers 211km and 323km range, respectively. The bike also comes with 10 levels of switchable regenerative braking levels standard for the Recon model. The base trim only gets three.
On the feature front, the F77 Mach 2 includes three ride modes for both variants, a five-inch TFT, auto-dimming lights, hill hold, ABS, and dynamic stability control. But the Recon variant gets four levels of traction control also.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 rides on 41mm USD front forks, and a preload adjustable monoshock. The braking hardware includes a single 320mm front and 230mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyre.
The asking price for the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is set at Rs. 2,99,000 for the first 1,000 customers and Rs. 3,99,000 (both ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the F77 Mach 2 Recon.
