Triumph Daytona 660 India launch soon!

– Production has commenced

– Pre-bookings have also begun

– Features the same engine as the Trident 660

Triumph India has commenced the production of the Daytona 660 for the Indian market. The brand revealed the same on its social media handles, and some dealers have also started the pre-bookings. The token amount can be between Rs. 25,000 – 30,000.

While the Daytona 660 shares the platform with the other 660 bikes in Triumph’s lineup, its power figures are notably higher. The Daytona 660 makes 95bhp and 69Nm and it is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The setup is nestled in a steel perimeter frame suspended on Showa 41mm USD front forks and a preload adjustable Showa monoshock. The braking hardware comprises twin 310mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in a 120/70 front and a 180/55 rear tyre.

Triumph has also loaded the bike with features like all LED illumination, three ride modes – Sport, Road, and Rain – traction control, ABS and a TFT with smartphone connectivity on the Daytona 660.

The bike’s supersport styling is complemented by three colour options – Snowdonia White, Satin Granite, and Carnival Red.

We expect the bike to cost close to Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) with all the bells and whistles and the overall aspirational value of it.
